Nomagic’s Shoebox Picker has been named a finalist of the IFOY Awards 2026 in the Innovation of the Year category – one of the most respected awards in the global intralogistics industry.
The nomination recognizes a major breakthrough in Physical AI: reliable, fully automated handling of shoeboxes – long considered one of the most difficult items to automate in fashion warehouses.
By enabling automated picking of up to 98% of shoebox SKUs, the Shoebox Picker removes one of the last major barriers to full automation in fashion warehouses. Shoeboxes represent around 20% of items in typical fashion e-commerce operations and significantly more in footwear-focused fulfillment centers.
The solution is already deployed in a live customer environment and supports picking, packing, and sorting use cases — including mixed-bin scenarios.
The IFOY Awards are among the most prestigious innovation awards in intralogistics, recognizing technologies that set new standards in automation, efficiency, and industrial applicability. Finalists are selected by an independent jury of international logistics and automation experts.
