High throughput requirement

Operation of an e-commerce fashion warehouse, and at the pocket sorter in particular, is really speedy. For ASOS to achieve the right ROI, each robot has to be performing at over 600 units per hour - and they have been consistently beating this target.

Apart from the high speed of the robot itself, we’ve installed supplementary hardware such as the item pusher to maximize the solution performance.

Scanning a variety of barcodes

The robots have to be prepared to scan small, big and often hard-to-read barcodes from various producers. We’ve come up with ways to scan during movement and from all possible angles to make sure we’re efficient and fast and each item can be identified.

Very broad fashion assortment

A huge online fashion retailer like ASOS has an offering for all seasons that includes not only all kinds of garments, but also accessories like bags, jewelry or hats. We’ve mastered them all while maintaining top speed and are proud to be able to call ourselves real experts at handling apparel.

Very light software integration
